The Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI), under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, has awarded a grant to S2E for the development of an R & D project about renewable energy.
This aid is part of the Programa Feder-Innterconecta, aimed at pilot projects whose main objective is the development of innovative technologies with economic projection internationally and that advance to the regions where they thrive.
ARESS is a project developed by four sevillanas companies. Its purpose is to implement an advanced storage solution and battery energy absorption and a controlled network connection.
Its name is an acronym for Advanced Renewable Energy Storage System. It’s justified by their functions: improves network stability, economic performance and productivity of the electric energy supply through renewable energy sources.
S2E project provides high performance control of the energy management system, communication with the management bodies of energy (batteries and converted), weather monitoring and auxiliary fixtures. The contribution of each partner’s knowledge is essential to win the overall objective: a versatile Andalusian, Spanish and European solution for electric distribution networks.
The award of this grant strengthens the excellence of R & D lines of S2E and AICIA collaborator as a research organization of the consortium, reaffirming the commitments of the company with sustainable development projects.
